The Week In Review

There were quite a few phone calls this past week, but only one resulted in a bird being admitted to the Pendleton Center. It was a Sharp-shinned Hawk with multiple wing fractures that could not be repaired.

Fortunately, we were able to release three Western Screech Owls. Samantha and I banded them. Bob transported them to Umatilla were he met Krista. Krista released one owl in Kennewick. She transferred the other two owls to Mark who released them in Wapato and Selah. Rehab is definitely a team effort, and BMW has an awesome team.
