Banded Bald Eagle

An adult Bald Eagle was found in a large vacant lot in Moses Lake, WA. He appears to have either hit a power line or the 6-foot fence surrounding the lot while chasing a rabbit. A WDFW biologist from Ephrata captured the bird and met BMW volunteer Laurel who then met Bob in Umatilla in order to transport the eagle to Pendleton. …

Year of the Red-tailed Hawk

In 2014, as of January 11, one Red-tailed Hawk, one Great Horned Owl and one Northern Flicker had been admitted for care. 

In 2015, as of January 11, admissions include 7 Red-tailed Hawks, 2 Great Horned Owls, 2 Gulls, 1 American Coot
